Changan Automobile and Honor Mobile Jointly Establish Laboratory to Deeply Build In-Car Intelligent Space

On August 13, the 'Joint Innovation Open Laboratory' co-built by Changan Automobile Co., Ltd. and Honor Terminal Co., Ltd. was officially inaugurated. Focusing on collaborative R&D for phone-car connectivity, promoting the transition from device 'connection' to system-level ecosystem 'integration'.

First Automaker to Receive Honor CarLink Joint Certification

Relying on the mature and rigorous vehicle testing and verification system of the Tianshu Intelligent Experiment Center, as well as industry-leading automated testing capabilities, Changan Automobile has become the first automaker in the industry to receive Honor CarLink joint certification authorization.

The cooperation between the two parties goes beyond single-function customization, rising to deep cooperation covering the entire chain of requirement definition, product development, testing and verification, and certification exit, setting a new benchmark for cross-industry collaboration between automakers and consumer electronics brands.

First Release of Honor CarLink 3.0 Unlocks New Cross-Device Interaction Experience

At the level of innovative technology mass production, Changan's new Deepal S05 will be the first to feature Honor CarLink 3.0 system, supporting multiple methods such as phone mirroring and car-machine integrated list projection, allowing free switching between small window and full screen display according to driving scenarios. While driving, the small window displays navigation; when parked, one-click full screen for watching videos, achieving the convenient experience of 'phone content, car display'.

At the same time, the two parties have for the first time opened up the cross-device voice interaction control chain. In interconnection mode, waking up the car-machine voice can execute phone application commands, achieving the convenient experience of 'moving mouth not hands'.

Three Years of Deep Cultivation, 21 Models Scaled Implementation

The cross-industry collaboration between Changan Automobile and Honor Mobile has been steadily advancing for three years:

In March 2023, the two parties formed a joint development team;

In October 2024, the industry's first Honor CarLink 1.0 was released;

In May 2025, Honor CarLink 2.0 was launched with the Deepal S05 mass production, the first cooperative model in the industry;

In October 2025, Changan Automobile was rated as Honor's Gold Partner.

Currently, Honor CarLink has been installed on 21 main models of Changan Automobile, and the scaled implementation results fully verify the maturity of the technical collaboration and market recognition of both parties.

From the implementation of the first cooperative model, being rated as Gold Partner, to the inauguration of the joint laboratory, Changan Automobile and Honor Mobile are moving from product co-creation to technology ecosystem co-construction, opening up deeper dimensions of collaborative innovation.
