On August 6, the new Deepal S05 was officially launched, with comprehensive upgrades in four dimensions: intelligence, driving experience, space, and style. The new car is equipped with the Tianshu Navigation intelligent driving assistance system, featuring class-leading LiDAR and a one-stage end-to-end algorithm. The entire vehicle is equipped with over 90 navigation assistance functions, covering 99% of daily high-frequency road conditions such as highways, urban areas, and parking, making every trip more relaxed.

In September this year, the Tianshu Navigation Ultra version will also be mass-produced and launched on the Changan Qiyuan Q06, completing the transition from frontier development to large-scale vehicle integration.

This ease and peace of mind did not come overnight.

Changan Automobile's intelligent driving research and development began in 2009. From a team of dozens in a laboratory in Chongqing to today's intelligent R&D matrix of over 7,500 people; from the first 2,000-kilometer unmanned long-distance test in China in 2016 to the first L3-level autonomous driving special license plate in 2025 and the L4 unmanned taxi test license in 2026.

This path, which has been walked for seventeen years, has been guided by "safety" as its coordinate and validated by "mass production" at every step. When the "Beidou Tianshu" intelligent plan was launched in 2017, Changan made a judgment: new energy has opened the prelude to a new era of automobiles, and digital intelligent vehicles will surely become the true future. Today, this judgment is being transformed into the technical reality of Tianshu Navigation's mass production.

The technical foundation of Tianshu Navigation is Changan's self-developed end-to-end architecture and multimodal large model. It allows the vehicle to evolve from "following rules" to "understanding the world"—not only recognizing traffic signs but also comprehending the deep game behind complex road conditions; it also deeply integrates powertrain and chassis technology, enabling close coordination between decision-making and execution.

This leap is achieved through Tianshu Navigation's deep learning from real human driving, rather than mechanical application of fixed rules. The previous generation of assisted driving was often criticized by users for being "too robotic": following too close or too far, hesitant lane changes, and weaving through curves.

Tianshu Navigation, trained on over 20 million segments of high-quality real human driving data, makes acceleration, deceleration, lane changes, and cornering more like an experienced driver—maintaining a reasonable and comfortable following distance, making clean and decisive lane changes, slowing down before corners and then taking a smooth line, and slowing down to observe at unfamiliar intersections rather than exiting directly. This makes long-distance driving easier and reduces motion sickness for rear passengers.

Supporting this "human-like" feel is rigorous validation of approximately 1.2 billion kilometers before mass production. Before delivery to users, the system has undergone real vehicle testing, virtual simulation, and data replay, completing a validation mileage equivalent to circling the Earth 30,000 times, and maintaining a daily simulation training intensity of approximately 3.3 million kilometers.

Narrow roads, mountain roads, and unprotected left turns—the system has repeatedly seen and practiced them in the laboratory. What is forged from this is an "AI veteran driver" with both advanced perception and precise judgment, steadfastly safeguarding user safety on every journey.

When LiDAR and end-to-end algorithms, once exclusive to high-end vehicles, are now applied to family cars in the 100,000-yuan range. It is not about making users pay a premium for technology, but about making technology standard—this is Changan's understanding of "inclusivity."

With the launch of the new Deepal S05 as a starting point, the Tianshu Navigation new product season has fully begun. The greatness of technology lies not only in its sophistication but also in its accessibility. Changan Automobile is committed to making intelligent assisted driving better, more practical, and more affordable. In the future, Tianshu Navigation will maintain rapid iteration, with multiple OTA upgrades each year, allowing intelligent safety to continuously evolve and users to always have something new.
